Food Pantry

 small community pantry is here to help fight the food insecurity in our city. With the rising cost of food, gas, and most household items, more households are struggling to provide food for their families. 

Drop by our office Tuesday – Thursday between 10am to 3pm to access our pantry. 

If you would like to donate items you may drop off any non-perishable items as well as basic needs items such as tampons, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant, diapers, and formula during our office hours.

Offered by a counsellor from Insight Counselling. Appointment required.

Magic Carpet Ride

Offered by CanLearn, this program helps young children boost their literacy skills. Through engaged learning, children learn to grow their language skills through play-based activities.

North East Women’s Network (NEWN)

A group for women who are looking at reducing social isolation, building a social network, learning new skills to remove barriers to employment, advocacy and connection.

Good Food Box

The Good Food Box, offered by Community Kitchens, helps you to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for less. Access this program through us. Cash only. Boxes come in 20lbs, 30lbs and 40lbs.
